Matters Arising
Fish Restocking
We have moved 167 fish from the pump pond up to the long pond already. No more to be moved unless it is large carp, which is to be photographed and committee notified about. We will get more fish around November. Got a quote for 150 Chub, 100 Tench & 100 Ide costing 1,400.00.
Change to rules.
The change proposed is wording in rule one to read must carry a currant OAC card.
Vote for yes had majority.
Working parties
It is the same few people that do them, so as a reward for those who attend at least 3 working parties in the membership year will be guaranteed membership in the next year.
Vote for yes had majority.
Other suggestion was to look into gift vouchers. And can we put the WP dates on the notice board.
Membership fees
Proposed a raise of £2.00 on all memberships next year for postage as 42 cards still have not been collected and the new rule states you must have it on you. Gate and Toilet code will be put on the covering letter. Ian Paul (Bailiff) asked if you can fish between payment and receiving card, yes members can within limits.
Vote for yes had majority.
Chairman Report
Firstly, I would like to thank all of you for coming tonight, and those who brought all the trophies back from last year, which has now been cleaned and engraved for this year’s winners. Ricky Payne has stepped down.
From Match Secretary, I thank him for his time in this post. The committee has elected Phil Ingram as our new Match Secretary.
The toilet is a success; we have restocked it with toilet rolls and put an air freshener in it. I have contacted and waiting to hear from the company to empty it.
Unfortunately, there was a dead goose found to have been shot on island, which we have now removed.
I will read out this notice about The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 which will be put on the notice board. R B read the Notice highlighting that it is a criminal offence to kill or harm any geese, eggs, or nests. We are also putting up more security cameras.
We are having a new notice board which is being print now and will be Put up as soon as possible.
